Grain fed giraffe? lol

Racers,

So many of you have written with questions about my Top Fuel Nutrition Plan wanting to get advice and some just comfounded about what I am getting at. For those of you who still haven't taken me up on the risk free offer to own Racers Workout, shame shame. Seriously though, you should because Top Fuel Nutrition is a free bonus included in the whole package.  To me Top Fuel is every bit as crucial to the goal of becoming racing fit for more wins, as the working out part. I have said frequently that a Racer who won't work on eating right is actually wasting his time with my workouts. It goes together like a puzzle.

What is Top Fuel about in a nutsell?  Easy, it is about understanding the nature of what you are eating on a simple fundamental level and choosing what you eat based on that understanding. When you make that choice corrrectly (which is easy to do when you know the simple rule) things like portion control and fat grams all the other head spinning worrisome stuff, are no longer relevant.

In Top Fuel, I cut through all the chatter and confusion and tell my racers to eat outer aisle aka natural foods and avoid inner aisle aka processed foods.  The reason is that when you eat processed foods they are invariably loaded up with fructose, high fructose corn syrup, or corn syrup. These products cause people to gain weight without much regard to how much of them you eat. They are in our food because they are cheap and they promote taste towards our natural affinity for things that are sweet. They addict us chemically. They make us fat.

I included this very well written article about Sugar being the enemy to weight control (and not portion size). Millions of well meaning people all over the world are selling out their fitness and weight loss goals to fancy packaging promising "low fat" or "light" when they could be eating foods rich in energy and taste (and eating all they want!)  I did this post today because I want to reinforce the large concept of natural v. processed in my racers's minds and in the minds of all my clients.
