A strong mailman who worked like a beast in the gym. Anyways, one of my Racers Workout Clients had plenty to say, and I wanted to share it with you all.

I am puffing my chest out on this one. But I thought this racer captured what we do for you if you put in the work like we say. It doesn't take long either.

One week- one week is all it took for me to notice a difference. I hate to sound very infomercial-esque, but it's working. The diet, the training tips, the interval running. The combination is pretty awesome, I have to say. I feel more energetic, I'm more confident behind the wheel, I am starting to be more sensitive to everything in the car. 

Last week, I started the diet and interval running, but I didn't know how to incorporate the strength training into the running program, so I just ran last week. Today, when I got back in the gym, I did my strength training and added interval running. And wow, what a difference it made. I look leaner, I feel better, and I wasn't decimated at the end of the workout- I actually felt accomplished. Actually, at the end of my day 4 interval running last week, I tried track visualization- something I found out about through a guy named Ross Bentley. I started at the last minute of the run, and ran a course in my head that I have been able to get 1:07 times on in the car. I ran the whole thing in my head, while very close to fatigue, and the clock showed a 1:10. Not bad for accuracy, eh?I don't know what exactly the combination is, but it seems that everything I'm doing lately is benefiting my driving and racing ability. I'm going karting on Wednesday at a track I know fairly well (last time I ran there was about a month ago, so before I started this program). Hopefully this will show an improvement in times as well. It will be my last bit of actual race training before our big race in Toronto this weekend, so I hope I can get a bit of confidence out of it.
