4th Place Finish A Disappointment for Kasey? Hardly.

My guy Kasey Kahne ran great Saturday night at one of the sport's toughest tracks: Darlington. That is two top 5 finishes in as many Sprint Cup events. Kasey had the pole and lead the most laps. I would say his season is on the rise. True to form, Kasey battled through some Darlington "stripes" mid-race and finished solid. It is also worth remembering that he is coming off a knee surgery less than a month ago.  When you talk about Kasey Kahne, you talk about a guy that has the will to prepare to win rather than the will to win. His dedication to physical and mental preparation take a backseat to know one I have seen in a quarter century in this field. The move to HMS next year should mean even bigger things for a driver that I see as under the radar for most of the last two seasons.  Proud of him and super excited for what is to come.
