Some folks asked me if there was any follow up to last Friday's Mail Time involving our 13 year old fast hungry to kick butt Racer named Ryan. Remember he had taken the bull by the big horns and put together his own weight training program.  I advised him to focus more on total fitness and discovering the power of good nutritional habits.  Check it out here.

Thanks so much for the help! My parents and I are gonna jump on the gun and buy a bunch of fruits, nuts, veggies, etc. They have given me the permission to let you send the Racer's Workout and setup a running interval for me. There also proud to have somebody like you help us out and make me the fittest. I'm thinking about taking up Tennis when I reach the 9th Grade. I enter the 8th Grade this year. But in the meantime, I'm gonna learn and start playing tennis with my girlfriend who is a few years older than me. I am highly active in basketball during the winter months. But please send me all your ideas on body weight excercises! I'm READY and Can't WAIT to make a workout plan with you! I am very pleased you are staying so active. That and establishing good nutrition habits early on will give you a great advantage as you grow and lay a very solid foundation for when you dive into weight training. At that point, around age 15 or so, Racers Workout would be a perfect fit for what you are doing. When you start getting bored with push ups, sit ups and the couch potato exercises, email me back and we'll add some more more to what you are doing. Make sure you write everything down when you do them and try to do 1 or 2 more each time you workout.
