Kasey Kahne and Hendrick is gonna be a force to be reckoned with

Hey Racers and Fans,

We didn't get a chance to talk enough about the awesome finish to the NASCAR Sprint Cup season this year. It came down to the last race. For the first time in a number of years, Jimmie Johnson was not Chase champion. Tony Stewart edged Carl Edwards.  Carl is one of my favorites because he has been at the forefront of the fitness movement among the younger drivers.  He did himself proud at the NASCAR awards banquet in Las Vegas on Sunday too. Here is a great read about the connection between his career and Mark Martin's path.  Of course the subject of fitness comes up. Carl Edwards looks great (see below) but make no mistake intense devotion to race based fitness has been a key component in his rise.

Lost in all the excitement of the Edwards v. Stewart tension in the Chase was a very impressive showing by Kasey Kahne. More about that here from SpeedTV.com.  How does a 7.9 average finish, bested only by Stewart and Edwards make you feel about Kasey in 2012?  He's working harder than ever to make 2012 a breakthrough.
