Auto Racing Workout Magazine and the Power of the Medicine Ball

Today, we have the medicine ball hatchet throw downs with a 10 lb. ball. This is a big part of Racers Workout and you see it time and again. I love the medicine ball because it attacks the core which promotes a strong back and stomach area. The medicine ball also tests your hand eye coordination and endurance. This one gives you a a total body workout. When in doubt racers, opt for exercises that work the entire body for short high intensity bursts. Here ya go:
- With a medicine ball between the hands, raise the arms overhead.
- Initiate a slight prestretch by moving toward full extension in the ankles,knees, hips, and shoulders.
- Quickly change direction and slam the medicine ball against the ground.
- Catch the ball and move rapidly toward the fully extended position to resume the start above.
