Racers and fans,

I am alerting you ahead of time that doing things non-conventionally and being a general independent rabble rouser is one of my favorite qualities in any person. So this article  about a different approach to eating for weight loss and fitness will be accompanied by a new record high number of pictures of famous people that are prestty much unrelated to the specific topic. But they are great rebels in my mind. Consider yourself warned.

A true actual rebel is one with a cause. Would The Racers Workout have changed the outcome of the famous drag racing scene? I say yes. But we'll never know.

quite possibly the most famous real live rebel. When you have the car from a classic show like "Dukes of Hazzard" named after you, you are a big deal.

Susan B. Anthony proved guts are not the province of men only.

Recently I caught up with a friend of mine through email. His name is Mike and he announced proudly to me that he had transformed himself by losing some hard to lose weight. Lots of it. This is an important matter because, as I have said many times, many of my new Racers Workout buyers have no back ground working out and are way overweight from their ideal.  So we often have to tailor an approach that emphasizes a new way of eating with a gradual step laddering into the actual workout.

As you all likely know, I have Top Fuel Nutrition as the weapon of choice in Racers Workout and I am talking about the basic principles of that nutrition plan often. Those basics are:

1. Choosing natural foods over processed foods

2. less emphasis on calorie counting, and emphasizing knowing what types of  foods are beneficial and what types are not

3. Fueling our bodies fully without worry so that we never walk away unsatisfied.

One reason I shy away from being too rigid about what exactly to eat every meal is because that isnt how our lives work. Realistically, if we get 80 to 100% compliance without stressing so much about every morsel, we'll kick butt with my Program.  I also allow for the fact that I don't know everything on the topic and we as individuals must have a program that works for us.   So it went with my friend Mike:

***First Rebel break with an emphasis on Lone Wolfness (aka quiet serious rebels that we all loved)

Steve McQueen as detective Frank Bullitt. The car chase through San Francisco, the style, Jacqueline Bisset. Must see lone wolf rebel at his absolute peak.

I couldn't mention Jacqueline Bissett as Bullitt's girlfriend and then not....

An even more iconic San Francisco detective

Clint is definitely captain of my all time cinema lone wolf rebels all star team. He defines it in most every movie.

Idle thought: Fantasy movie for those of us who love the rebel. Clint and John Wayne in a western. Clint and Steve McQueen in a cop thriller, or how about a World War 2 movie with all three?  Also starring Jacqueline Bisset of course.

Anyhow, let's see what a willingness to go against all the noise out there and simply sticking to a plan will do for a man.  Meet Mike and check out what worked for him:

BASICALLY I CUT DOWN MY INTAKE OF FOOD, IF I GOT A SALAD (which are all large these days)  I ATE HALF FOR LUNCH AND HALF FOR DINNER.  TODAYS PORTIONS ARE SO OVERSIZED!

OOPS,  sorry about the caps-lock.

If I eat a “full” lunch I have a snack at night or if I graze lightly during the day I eat a “full” dinner right as soon as I can after I get home, I basically knocked out about ½ to  1 net meal a day but I still eat just as many times, and don’t notice being hungry going about it this way.

Say if I ate a hoagie due to time constraints, I would do ½ now ½ later, or ½ now ½ tomorrow rather than all now….  I eat at the same frequency but in smaller portions, and more fruits + veggies and less breads etc.

I think I cut out French fries completely, may have had a few sweet potato fries once but that’s it.  They never really did much for me anyway, other than fill me up.

I think it was as easy as overeating, without realizing I really was.

My body is 35 and my mind is 22 in that department…..….

3 days a week of 40 minutes on the elliptical and light weight work with high reps, about 1.5 hrs in gym 3 times a week, and I really stuck to it.  Last 2 weeks I missed the gym 2 times but I have not gone up as I have been mindful that if I am not heading to the gym that I have to be extra careful regarding my intake.

But the big thing was my mind-set about my consumption.

I started drinking green tea in afternoons, it seems to suppress appetite, and it’s not terrible either.

Don’t get me wrong I still have a lot of work to do, but this time I have kept going the right direction for many months in a row.

See everyone, it is important you pick the right plan, but you'll never know it is right if you don't see it through. One thing I will say about Racers Workout is this: you'll see those results so fast in how you feel and how you compete on that track, you'll have no temptation to stop.  Remember that I am always an email away and I answer all of them, because your success matters the same as mine.  Russbohaty@gmail.com
